About Us
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is focused on finding cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. The hospital’s daily operating costs are $2.2 million, which are covered primarily by public contributions. St. Jude accepts any child who needs their services without ever charging the family a dime. Since a family’s only concern should be helping their child, they will never receive a bill from St. Jude for any of their needs including treatment, travel, housing or food.
Raising money for St. Jude became a passion of mine when I became a parent myself. At that time, I didn’t need support from St. Jude but I knew a lot of families did, so I wanted to help out all that I could just in case one day I would need them. I can only imagine the pain, heartache, and stress it can bring to a family and I want to do all I could to help!
In addition to participating in a yearly run to raise money for St. Jude, my wife and I also host this auction. This would not be possible without the help of friends from the hunting, fishing and outdoor communities. With the generous donations and bids from supporters all over North America, we donate all of the proceeds directly to St. Jude as part of our yearly fundraising efforts.
We know that every penny we raise helps with the development of new treatments, time a parent can spend with their child and ultimately, hopefully, someday a CURE!
